IPL Fantasy Faceoff

Sorry was thrown off by daylight savings time kicking in. But my team remained as is, Kohli C, Dube VC, Salt and Mhatre. Might regret making Dube VC over the other 2 but we'll see.

SRH vs LSG match isn't close to being done but it might as well be cause what the hell was that start by SRH. Ishan already screwed up my team. I just need them to put up enough runs for Jaydev and Marsh to get a chance to play...

I already have Mhatre who has been simply amazing so far. Going to make 3 transfers, Ishan, Dubey, Marsh out as they have the longest till their next game and Marsh costs a lot. Keeping Jaydev however but that could change after this first game. Now I have plenty of budget but need to pick a WK. Now none of the keepers particularly inspire confidence but Salt seems to be the most solid of them and if he can play like he did in 2024 or score 20+ runs and get a couple catches I'll be ok with that. Kohli is in great form as usual and I will be taking him this game and ideally he repeats his last game. Now for this last choice I can pick literally anyone no restrictions so it'll be a tough one. My options are Samson, Gaikwad, Padikkal, Shepard, Dube, Duffy or Kamboj. Of course they're many others but these are the most optimal with the others being better as differentials. I'll cross out the bowlers as per my plan. Samson and Gaikwad are fairly ehh after 2 games and nothing to show for it. That leaves Padikkal, Shepard and Dube. Based on the completely matches Padikkal or Shepard are better picks but I feel good about Dube, knowing he had a pretty good game 2 and his great t20WC and 2025 IPL I'm willing to back him and that closing out my to be honest very impressive team. I'm feeling really optimistic despite the previous games debacle. Kohli will be my Cap and Dube my VC. Thanks for reading and good luck to us all! I'll see you after the toss.
