IPL Fantasy Faceoff

Post toss PBKS won and chose to bat so nearly guaranteed win. I will not be making any changes and lineups are as expected. 2 transfers used, Salil and and Varun out and P Singh C, Chahal VC, Connolly, Arya, Noor and Mhatre in. Hoping for 300-400+ points. Good luck and I'll see you tomorrow!

I can't complain because I didnt use any transfers but that game went horribly. Salil Arora was just dead weight getting a duck. Much less potential than I thought he had clearly. But thats the risk of a differential pick, it won't always work in your favour. Varun disappointed always and I'll be replacing him with no plans to bring him back. Green on the other hand did objectively bad but I still feel there's some potential there, we'll see. Ishan started off so early hitting 3 does in a row even but cooked it and the only player that did objectively good was Dubey who took a wicket and got 9 runs. Overall bad game should've gotten atleast 200 points but hey that's how it goes.

Now for the next match I already have Mhatre, Noor, Singh and Arya. Which a pretty solid team but I figured I'd 1 more player. I decided to pick the player I wanted first then decide who to remove to afford it. Shreyas is a good pick still, I like Jansen as an option. I still think Dube is CSK's best. But after witnessing the collapse of CSK last game I was keen to pick a PBKS bowler. It brings a good balance so I have batters and bowlers from both sides so whether the teams go berserk or collapse and leave no runs to chase I'll have some opportunity for points. So it was between Chahal and Arshdeep in my opinion. Chahal had a better first match but I still think Arshdeep is their best. I have to mention Vijaykumar who took 3 wickets last game for PBKS who can be a great choice if you have less funds or maybe compared to Chahal and Arshdeep too. But for now I removed Varun who was pricey and hasnt delivered twice now and took Arshdeep. I did make Prabhsimran Cap as I told he'd be more reliable and had more potential than Arshdeep who I made VC.

CHANGE OF PLAN. I decided if I want to afford better players I need a couple cheap players I can always have in my team that I know will play so I waste fewer trasnfers to keep the team balanced. I decided those 2 players would be Allen and Connolly so Allen will be brought in next time KKR plays but this game I'll swap out Salil for him. But unfortunately that goes over the credit limit so I'll swap Arshdeep for Chahal so not a big downgrade.

So 2 transfers used, Salil and Varun out, Cooper and Chahal in. P Singh C and Chahal VC. Also have Connolly, Arya, Noor and Mhatre so 6 players total and their all quite capable expecting a 275-300+ point game, ideally 400+.
