Rivalry notes
LSG won and chose to bowl, teams look like expected. If you want to pick a differential and you might as well since there's no great options anyway, I'd recommend Tim Seifert. He's got a lot to prove and this is a great game to show it.
Despite Samson failing and the last game seeming like it'll end with just an average score it's still better than this second game. I hate these teams. I hate this match up. I hate these players. I hate the decision I'll end up taking...
I already have Prince Yadav who might be the ONLY player with an ounce of reliability from the 2 teams. The rest is just pure nightmare fuel, lottery pick, level of guess work. Normally I'd just have the minimum 2 players for a game like this but I have quite a few transfers to spend here. So I'll make 2. Overton and Samson first to go as they don't play for 6 games. Overton has been good though so I'll be seeing him again. Samson? will depend on my mood and the opposition. Now my picks. I am NOT a fan. To be honest I'll tell you my picks but no other 'potential' scorers because my guess is no better than yours. Based on their last clash this season Badoni, Mukul, Angkrish are the batting picks and Roy and Arora the bowlers. Based on the rest of the season none of them have shown any consistency with Ankul Roy not even bowling last match... So I'll go for the name brands of Green and Pant but just know it doesn't really matter. Hell in low scoring games, you might pick low strike rate stars like Rahane to be your team's back bone. In fact as I write this I'm convincing myself to pick Rahane but I don't have the funds if I take Pant. But for everyone else I'd recommend just have 2 players, ideally Rahane and Yadav but I'll be having Pant, Green and Yadav today with Pant as my Cap as he flips between hot and cold and I think we can expect something decent today and Yadav as my Vice to hopefully get a couple wickets and put a decent tally on my board.
Think we can just pray the dice rolls in our favour today. With that thanks for reading, and I'll see you after the toss -- maybe I don't know if it's worth thinking about this match any longer -- but I'll definitely see you tomorrow...
