Rivalry notes
Apologises for not updating before the toss but it remained the same as before so I'll make the post for the next game now :)
What a GREAT game. 4 of my 6 players got 50+ points for a total of 424.5. So a good team effort than any one star. Unfortunately the bowler Noor and Chahal did disappoint only getting 1 wicket between them. I think I'll find 3 bowlers that are cheap and good and keep them the entire tournament because so far they've just been wasted transfers. I think it might not be worth using c/vc on a bowler... The batters Mhatre, Arya, Singh and Cooper did all I could ask for especially Mhatre. They group of them look like they'll be great reasonably priced picks for the rest of IPL 2026.
Already have Kuldeep Yadav, so I reckon I'll make 3 transfers. I have quite a few to spare regardless. I'm taking out Arya, Green and Noor as they don't play for a few games and I don't want Noor in my team anyway. He just hasn't met expectations after 2 games. I have 2 OS slots, 26.5cr and need 2 batters and 1 bowler so I have no freedom but I guess it makes it easier to choose players. I can't afford Bumrah so Ngidi is an easy choice after his great first game. As for batters, I need a cheap pick and Sameer Rizvi well overperformed in the first game so he'll be an easy pick for 8.5cr but it's hit or miss whether he scores anything substantial. Against LSG he scored half his side's runs in the low scoring thriller to win MOTM, very deservingly. With 10cr I can perfectly slot in Tilak Varma who has a good track record against as the top scorer from MI. There is also Rohit Sharma who had a great first game but I just don't think he'll be able to replicate that. Even if his first game didn't go amazing I'm willing to back Tilak again as my Captain with Ngidi as VC.
That's all for now, thanks for reading and I'll see you after the toss!
